New Ad campaign for Monet

Inspired by the Lauren Hutton Ads of the 70′s, this is the first ad campaign the brand has had since 2000. With the help of Elle Sullivan Wilson, we put together and amazing team! How beautiful is my fellow Brazilian Cintia Dicker?

New Doll! Meet Betsy
Mixing the old with the new, with the soon-to be. I used new and old materials alike to give life to this very special girl! Her lovely tube top is made up from a lonesome sock, her raven eyes from mismatched sample coat buttons and her whole body filled with fabric scraps. Talk about recycling! I did use new yarn for the hair, and discarded fabric samples for her skirt and body.
One Night, One Bus. Fictitious Bus Ad’s I made for LCNY’s F09 Ad photo shoot.
Last Thursday: It was the end of the workday and I had a new assignment: To create, literally overnight 24 banner ads to fill a NYC Bus. I had to be ready to release the ads the next morning, so that they would ready for the shoot on Monday. All the illustration work is drawn by me. I wrote the copy as well, except on select ads, in which you can see the brilliant and funny copy of Kara King. I have a long commute so I’m been staring at subway ads for a long time. It was a lot of fun, and I hear they were a hit! Can’t wait to see which of these will end up in the final ad campaign images! I’ll keep you posted!
